What has you stuck and how can you GET MOVING?
Have you ever wondered why things just don’t happen for you as easy as it seems to happen for other people? Well, I found that whenever I’ve had thoughts like that, I seriously had to take a long hard look at the type and/or the amount of effort that I was putting behind my mission. Whether it is self, career or family we all can do something different that will bring about a different result or even a REWARD.
Whenever I wanted to bring about a change whether it was with my personal weight loss goals or with my business, I had to look at what am I currently doing and I look at what is working and what isn’t working too well for me. That’s something that you can do and I like to refer to this step as checking in. Once you understand what isn’t working for you then you have to get moving and do something different even if you’re not too sure of the outcome. Small changes matter, for instance, earlier this year I had a procedure on both of my legs called Microphlebectomy, a procedure for varicose veins. During these treatments, I’m not able to keep up my workout routine with the intensity that I am used to. So, I decided that I will focus on my eating habits instead and instead of doing what I used to with counting my calories, I decided to count my macros instead which switched my attention to my ratio of protein/carbs/fat that I consume. This change was just the shift that I needed to put me on the right path to get the RESULTS that I am seeking.
So, I hope this got you thinking about ways to GET MOVING in whatever you’re feeling stuck in because no one wants to feel like they are on a hamster wheel to nowhere.
